happens to me quite often...checked petcock, it was clean...switched to reserved...thought that was the problem....nope...does it with a full tank also...i remove the cap...might be vacuum lock..seems to help...but i never hear a hiss, so i doubt it is vapor lock...i am going to change gas caps, and give that a try...and yes...the rear wheel does lock up at low speed when it happens...I HATE THAT!!! and the screen name? yes i have a "jetboat"...never runs out of gas...but it does burn it!
